This Tapestry of Light is made of 4 different blues and an ochre for the center.  The border is a hand-woven ochre African Mud Cloth.  The title evokes a westward facing witness of the dawn, where the light descends upon the darkness from above.  Rather than the easterly birth of a new day, the horizon shows the death of night.
